Background
Inspired by Christopher Nolan's film "Inception," which focuses on the exploration of parallel universes and the interconnectedness of all things.
This project aims to provide players with a similar experience. The idea behind the project is to create an immersive gaming experience that entertains and prompts self-reflection and exploration.
Players are invited to explore their true identities by transpassing different dimensions and times.
User Journey
The player begins by reading an instructional letter, initiating a journey of exploration through different rooms. With choices, they navigate, uncover clues, and collect objects to reveal hidden or lost memories, shaping a unique and immersive experience.

Challenges & Solutions

Technical Challenges:
The limited resources and absence of a dedicated game engine posed significant technical challenges during the project, especially in the context of VR development and hardware limitations.
Solutions:
To overcome these challenges, I adjusted our expectations and explored alternative ways to express the essence of the project within the available resources and constraints. Additionally, I utilized VR prototyping and an iterative design process to address technical hurdles and optimize the performance for a smooth VR experience.
Reflection
Throughout the project, I learned the value of seeking guidance from specialists in game development. I consulted my playwright friend for crafting an engaging storyline and collaborated with my professor for concept design and Maya asset creation. This collaboration enriched my project and enhanced its overall quality.
